Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Goodluck!
I got the book two years ago. I read it that time, and its effect on me was like ok, it was a good book, another book that attempts to make you realize the importance and value of life. That everybody and everything has its own purpose.
reading it now again, me already a registered nurse, who is currently struggling to find a decent job, I guess the lessons that the book tries to convey, hit me better straight on the face.
the book teaches the reader about some life lessons like sacrifice, loss and love. But, most importantly it teaches its reader, the lesson of hope. for me the lesson hope is the greatest gift that the book has to offer its readers. Its a gift that could help even the most lost soul that could have walked this earth. It teaches its reader that hope is never wasted and that it is most certainly free.
if ever you see a copy of this book in any second-hand bookstore I suggest you grab it and buy it. if you have a little extra, go to a bookstore, search for it and buy it. read it, and give yourself a really great Christmas gift. share it to your family, friends, and to everybody you love.
its a book that you could read over again when you have just had a bad day. read it when you think that everyday of your existence you are forced to sacrifice. after reading it you just may view sacrifice from another perspective. read, be inspired, love and hope.
